UPSCALE is expanding the team

After project kick off, UPSCALE is open to new additions to the team!

November 2020 has marked the start of the project where consortium partners gathered to discuss and revise their goals, expectations, and contributions in the upcoming year. Study regions will be positioned in five East African countries: Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Uganda. For this purpose, we start off 2021 with a call for applications to various positions within the team. UPSCALE will engage not only consortium partners but a wider scope of external stakeholders pertaining to the community of farmers, representatives of academia and industry, as well as institutions and organizations dedicated to sustainable practices in agriculture and the inclusion of women and youth.

In the scope of research and academic collaboration, UPSCALE is currently aiming to recruit one (1) Ph.D. and two (2) Master students to take part in the project activities. For more references on the necessary qualifications and application process please find below more information.

Successful candidates are expected to start working on their proposals and data collection tools immediately (By March 2021).
